Our Spanish program goes above and beyond to offer an immersive experience that extends beyond the classroom. We believe in learning through real-life encounters and cultural engagement, which is why we organize captivating trips to Spanish-speaking destinations, exciting events, lively concerts, and unforgettable birthday fiestas and special event parties. These experiences provide our students with a unique opportunity to put their language skills into practice while having an absolute blast. Whether it’s exploring the vibrant streets of Barcelona, dancing to the rhythm of Latin music at a concert, or celebrating a birthday with a colorful piñata and traditional Mexican fare, our program ensures that every moment is a learning adventure filled with laughter, cultural enrichment, and lasting memories. Spanish Fun Concerts
With the Contagious Latin Music, people enjoy Summer and Fall Concerts. Music promotes a “feel good” mood. Outdoor concerts are fun, popular and extremely trendy. Spanish Fun Program makes you dance, play, sing, and laugh but also learn Spanish while having fun! Our Concerts offer entertainment from grandparents to babies because they are full of energy with engaging activities and games for all. We promote quality family time which is very important for all of us. Our most recent Concerts were at the Wright’s Pond which is operated by Medford Recreation and at the Condon Shell in Medford. Both concerts were organized by the Medford Family Network.
Special Events
Hand Made Piñata
Playing, laughing and having fun is the best way to learn, and even better if you can do it with your family, friends or people from your community.
The Spanish Fun Program offers fun but also educational programs to kids, families, adults and seniors. Learn vocabulary in Spanish while you make “your own handmade Mexican Piñata” Following directions in Spanish, learn about colors and shapes. Learn the traditional song “Dale, dale” At the end of the program get ready to dance and sing with the Latin Rhythms by playing with the parachute.
This Program requires 2 classes, 1 hour each.
Material Required: newspaper or old magazines, liquid glue, tissue paper, colorful paper, paper bag, scissors, tape, stickers to decorate.
Holy Guacamole Day
Playing, laughing and having fun is the best way to learn, and even better if you can do it with your family, friends or people from your community.
The Spanish Fun Program offers fun but also educational programs to kids, families, adults and seniors. Learn vocabulary in Spanish while you “pretend to buy the ingredients to make Guacamole”, then follow directions in Spanish and start making your own Guacamole, eat it with chips. Learn to say “Me gusta, or “No Me gusta” (I like it or I don’t like it)
At the end of the program get ready to dance and sing with the Latin Rhythms.
This Program is 1 hour (20 minutes “pretend to buy the ingredients, 10 minutes learning about what I like or I don’t, 20 minutes making the guacamole, 10 minutes of dancing and singing.)
Loteria Fun Night
Playing, laughing and having fun is the best way to learn, and even better if you can do it with your family, friends or people from your community. The Spanish Fun Program offers fun but also educational programs to kids in schools, families, adults and seniors. Learn vocabulary in Spanish while you play, eat chips and salsa and get ready to yell out “Loteria” once you complete all the chart. Learn to say “Lo tengo”, or “No, lo tengo” (I have it or I don’t have it ) After the game, you would be familiar with all the vocabulary and you would be able to play a memory game. At the end of the program get ready to dance and sing with the Latin Rhythms.
This Program is 1 hour (40 minutes Loteria, 10 minutes of memory game and 10 minutes of dancing and singing.)
